Becoming Vegangela

Angela Castro, a proud Brownsville native, embarked on a vegan journey in 2017, driven by a passion for sustainability and ethical living. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, the vision turned into reality with the establishment of Vegangela. Dedication and hard work have since secured three wholesale contracts with local small cafés, along with catering weddings, large events and birthday cakes for all, bringing plant-based creations to an even wider community.
